I remember seeing a story here about a guy with the license plate "DEFAULT" and worked in DC. Turns out DC's red light/speed cameras used "DEFAULT" as their generic entry for license plate if it was unreadable.

Long story short, he had to go to court 3-4 times a year just to dispute all of the auto-generated tickets sent to his house!

Jim Carrey did a similar thing in LA, got custom plates saying NOPLATE. Basically everyone who was ticketed with no plates on had their fines sent to his house.
